Finance Manager Ref: WL46270 A global Japanese chemical corporation is looking for a Finance Manager to work in their Almere office. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating accounting, taxation, financial and controlling activities of the local Dutch branch and ensuring the consolidation of the other branches according to Dutch GAAP. The ideal candidate should have strong financial management skills, proficiency in Dutch and English. ――――――――――――――――――― ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS: (O) Eligible visa: Permanent residence, Spouse, Partner (X) NOT eligible: Student visa, Requiring visa sponsorship WORK TYPE: hybrid VISA SUPPORT: No ――――――――――――――――――― TYPE: Fixed term 1 year + extension beyond WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday SALARY: €65 – 100k depending on experience START: ASAP LOCATION: Almere, Netherlands Finance Manager Main Responsibilities: Management of the local finance function, e.g. Monthly closing and reporting and tax processes Ensure local core financial services (accounting, tax, controlling, budget planning, reporting, risk management etc.) Support Japanese management in decision making and questions related to the daily operation (contracting, approving costs, communicate with the government etc.) Responsibility for annual economic and financial planning, as well for annual statements Design of customer-oriented and legally secure end-to-end accounts receivable management Ensure compliance with local finance guidelines and group guidelines Preparation of financial-related guardrails for the entire organization Cooperation with external auditors, tax advisors and the tax authorities Optimization and design of financial business processes (e.g. E-invoicing, internal controls, automation) Contribute to the strategic execution of the local business Finance Manager Ideal Candidate: At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in a Dutch-based and international organization Bachelor degree in Finance/accounting Excellent accounting and financial analytical skills Exceptional cooperation skills, demonstrating a proactive and decisive attitude Business level fluency in English and Dutch ** All applicants for the Finance Manager must have the right to work in the country as the Company is not able to offer visa support. *We regret that we cannot accept applications from Working holiday visa, Graduate or Student visa holders.
